Good Day
I seek for your help and information on how to close my personal loan account.
Direct Axis and Wes bank are sending from pillar to post.
The loan is linked on my FNB app. So every time I have money I transfer extra to the account since 2019. The amount varied from r40 to r20 000 and so on. Upon request of a settlement, direct axis asks for proof of payments mind you the statements show how much has been paid In advance.
I go through the trouble and go to the bank to print and stamp every proof of payment they could find. The payment history on this loan account from my app shows only up to April 2020 and nothing prior to that.
From memory I have to remember the amounts so I can instruct the FNB personnel which proof of payments to search for and stamp.
I phoned the number provided by direct axis but I never went through. The teleprompter asked for my ID and after pressing option 3 it rings a few times and cuts off without fail. I phoned again after I was told they’re trying to get hold of me but same thing happened.
I was debited in January 25 and another is scheduled on February 25. I don’t get help to settle this.
Initial loan 150000 Settle at 10 December R24 000 Paid in advance at 25 Jan R96143 Contractual balance at 25 Jan R87456

Kindly forward a stamped proof of payment reflecting banking details and reference number used for the amount paid as in order for us to process any possible refund and account closure.
Should you have made a transfer from FNB please forward a bank statement that will show the transaction of the settlement amount, alternatively you would need to go to the bank to get a valid proof of payment.

Dear Shoniwa
I need to enquire about closing the above account.
The account reflects a balance equal to the cash deposited in advance.
I was hoping that it can be settled and prevent future debits.
Your assistance will be appreciated
Kind regards
Akhona Gobingca
