On 28 November 2018, I app**** online for an extension to my original loan. The online application could not be completed, as I could not forward the additional documents at the time. I called the landline later that day to confirm my application. The consultant confirmed that my application was visible on the system and said that someone would call me shortly. I app**** for just over 100k but verbally told the consultant that I wanted the maximum amount available. She confirmed that she noted this request. Days went by and nobody called. On 3 December 2018, I called the ********** 529 number and informed the consultant that I was very unhappy with the poor service I received. I have called many times but nobody ever called back. She said that she noted this on the system and asked me to forward proof of income. I did this immediately. She called me back to confirm receipt thereof and promised to call me in 10 minutes to discuss the details of my application… She NEVER called me back. On 4 December 2018, I called the above number again to ask what was going on, as nobody has yet discussed any contract amount, payment terms or any other details whatsoever with me, only to learn that my “loan” for a pathetic 5k has been finalised and payment released. This is a very calculated and underhanded move from Direct Axis, which would result in my current loan being: - Settled in full; - A new “full term loan registered”, resulting in recalculation of the total loan amount over the “FULL” term, with a pay out to me of 5k - I would then pay an additional 2 years of interest, due to the registering of a new full term loan… JUST to borrow 5k??
