I have a loan that i have taken up with Direct Axis about a year ago. I have just contacted the customer care line to find out my settlement balance and it has only decreased by R407.51. The initial loan amount was R14000.00<br> and and after a year of paying it now sits at R13592.49. The biggest mistake i have made was to take out a loan with this company as they are ******* and are only there to rip you off. I have a loan that i have taken with Standard bank after i had taken the one with direct axis and the settlement value is much less than the direct axis one. I think it is impossible that only around R40.00 got allocated to my initial loan amount. they had also charged an admin fee at the beginning which reduced the actual loan amount to less than R14000.00. I think that it is absurd that a company like this is still left to operate. They trick people into taking out loans and lie to them when it comes to settling the loan. I had asked the consultant if it came to me settling the loan, would it just be the balance of the initial loan amount and she had confirmed. They now added the interest for the entire loan amount even though i want to settle it earlier. i want urgent feedback
