Shocking Customer Service
Shocking Customer Care, I requested my settlement letter 28 September and my account was paid up 4 October.
They have continued to debit my account on the 29 October. When I contacted then to ask for an immediate reversal I was told it will take a further 5 - 10 days to get the refund. At this point I asked for a full statement and I am told that they cannot do this since the account is closed.....now I suspect end of September's payment put the account in credit and the debit at the end of October also put the account in even more credit. I then asked for a settlement letter as was told that because the account is now in credit it cannot be issued.
On the flip side we have FNB also settled also paid up 4 October, settlement letter requested and issued same day, when the debit went off they apologized and sent a letter informing me the refund would be coming into my account. Perhaps its about time the management of FNB took a closer look at the business model for Direct Axis.
Surely in this day and age Direct Axis there is transparency and integrity lightly veiled theft of customers money by hiding credits from them?
If I had missed even a single payment I am sure your legal and recoveries departments would have been all over me in a rash to get the funds and not let it lie a single day.
As a customer I am extremely disappointed, this is not the sort of company I wish to do business with in future.
