Shame on you DIRECT AXIS!
Direct axis has not been very helpful assisting clients with payment relief during the pandemic, they are only offering assistance to those who have lost their jobs so they could use the credit life policy to cover it. What about those who have their spouses lose their jobs and are affected during this pandemic? Offering only the credit life option is not considered goodwill on their part, there's a lack of empathy on their part and are actually not really assisting people during this pandemic, they are basically just using the normal process of the credit life policy when someone has become retrenched, they did not go out of their way to assist from their side for cash relief. I had banks like ABSA and Nedbank who assisted with payment holidays for home loans and vehicle finance without requiring unemployment documentation. All they did was lengthen the contracts, which was fair. Why couldn't Direct Axis and their partner, FNB do the same? Yet I sent through a letter to FNB and Direct axis, explaining my situation, My husband helped me pay for the installments, without his help I am unable to pay the loan installment on my salary alone, I did declare that I had extra income coming in when I first app**** for a loan. So what about people like us who are still struggling with just one income during this pandemic?
