Settled loan but being refused to close it

I am so unhappy with the treatment from direct axis,I have settled my loan 10 days ago as per the settlement I was given by them and now every time I call in I am being sent from pillar to post.I was also told by the manager that I will be liable for the costs and interest incurred on the loan while they are escalating the query!This is unacceptable and not fair at all.
