I received an email from Direct Axis advertising a special on their personal loans at a interest fee of 5%. I app**** for a loan, receive the loan approval letter on a Direct Axis letter head. In the letter they requested that legal fees must be paid so that the document can be draw up by an attorney. I paid the money into the attorneys account. I received the loan agreement letter from the attorneys and they requested a further amount to be deposited for a once off insurance fee. I got suspicious at this stage. After investigating I found that this was not Direct Axis. Mrs Gina Nel corresponded with me via email. She used an oulook.com address. Unfortunately I didn't pick up that is was a **** until it was to late. The police station will not give me a case number . What can I do. I know I won't get my money back, but if I can do something to stop this woman I would do anything to help.
