Rude agent didn't want to listen to me, told me to 'Shut Up.'

I have had enough of unsolicited e-mails, SMS's and post offering me a DirectAxis Loan. I have no idea where they obtained my details, and I have listed myself on the Direct Marketing Associations "DO NOT CONTACT" list, but yet they persist. Today I called the number displayed in the SMS, one of several I have received over the past few months, and I got through to the most rude individual I've ever encountered. Not only did he not want to hear me out when I stated clearly that I did not want a loan from Direct Axis and asked how they came by my contact details. He still offered me a loan, and when I stated again that I did not want a loan from Direct Axis ever, he proceeded to tell me to 'Shut Up'! Is this a new way to address the general public? Are they taking lessons from politicians in rudeness??
