Pathetic Horrible and Horrid Company . Worse decision in my life!!!!!
What a terrible experience with this company!!! Rude and to think that this company is linked to FNB - I would think that FNB would be embarrassed to say the least!!!. Short version of my long story, last year I tried mediation for a couple of months and realized that Direct AXIS is the only company that does not accept debt mediation, they only accept debt review, which means that they prefer getting a percentage of the monthly premium instead of half, so lets look at this, instead of getting R1500 they prefer getting R150 that does not make sense to me, so after behind for about 4 months paying half instead of a full installment I close my debt mediation I contact ABSA and Nedbank which are all too happy to set up payment plans for me and accept it. Then I contacted Direct Axis thinking this is part of FNB so like the other banks I am sure they will agree to a payment plan as I become the only working person at home over night when COVID hit and my family lost their jobs. So I called in to Direct AXIS and a super rude women told me we don't accept anything, you either pay the full installment or get handed over, we have no other options open to you, we will hand you over and you have to pay the full amount, now for someone battling to make ends meet how do I pay the full amount outstanding when I cannot even meet the monthly installments but I am willing to pay half and not have money for basic living expenses but you will not even accept that. Are there people out there that are in my situation? Do we have any rights here? I mean it is not that I am not paying at all, I can only afford to pay half and it is not good enough? I have never come across a company that is so harsh on people considering what we are going through now due to COVID, I am not expecting my debt to be forgotten, all I am asking is if I can go onto a plan until such time as I can afford to start paying a full installment but the attitude is almost like go to hell and lets not forget I made the call, made the arrangements to pay after explaining my situation, I kid you not I get atleast 15 calls and atleast 6 SMS messages so my question is, instead of wasting money trying to call me so many times and paying so much for messages, why are you not like ABSA, set up a payment plan for a person for at least 1 year and after a year see what their situation is as it might be better and they can then afford to pay more. I just think that it is ******** the way Direct Axis harassers people, people that pay ... is this how you work Direct Axis and FNB being the bank of choice want to advertise and advertise, you should look at the company that you are affiliated with that don't care about people, about situations are you really wanting to be affiliated to a company like this?
