Paid up Directaxis Loan sitting as an adverse on my credit profile

I have a personal loan that was paid up in 2018 yet remains as as an adverse on my credit profile. I received a paid up letter on a Directaxis letterhead in this regard and yet the account sits on my credit profile as arrears. I requested Direct Axis to update my Credit Record in this regard without success.
