Need correct information

I did an application and then i spoke to the lady at credit this morning who did the processing of my salary on my application as they were waiting on my payslips that i did send through,she also asked me to send through my id and proof of address in interim which i also did,from what she told me she entered the salary amount and i will then receive a sms which i didnt and they will call me gving me the quote of how much i qualify for,so i called in now and spoke to Keegan and he says the application gone in for further processing so im under the impression that the loan i approved thus far so what is really the case here?
