Very poor service .I keep getting SMS's and phone calls every single day ,from morning to noon.I had submitted retrenchment documents last year in November ,kept on following up with the status of the procedure, however I must have only received 2 actual replies from the automated replies .I had also called in several times with airtime being low ,I kept on recharging in order to get a full explanation on why my claim was declined in January 2019.It could have been stated in the email however there was no reason stating declination of claim.Due to being in a 3 month period of taking the loan ,that was the reason .It was a waste of time submitting documentation and going through all that trouble if Direct Axis could not provide me with the reason straight away. Up till this day ,calls are non-stop and I am still UNEMPLOYED, the consultants are absolutely rude and unapologetic for their behaviour to customers .It is not the customer's fault that they had lost their job,it happened but Direct Axis treats one as if they are a ******** .I am in a situation with absolutely no income, I have been at home since December and with the unemployment rate ,jobs are extremely difficult at the moment .I am being harassed every day with the calls and SMS's, and there is absolutely nothing I can do .The loan has an insurance on it but it is was a complete waste of time if that insurance is not effective in the time of need .I have explained my reasons many times over the phone due to my affordability payments towards the loan but the consultants are just rude ! I am student ,I am currently facing exams and I honestly cannot process anything as the amount of calls and SMS's I receive in a day ,makes it difficult to concentrate. The only reason the loan was taken out was for my studies ,it was unfortunate I had been retrenched but it was not my fault .What was I paying an insurance for ?my bank still gets debited every month which is sitting at a negative balance ,consultants call to ask me the same questions of when I will be able to make a payment .I keep getting SMS's on legal letters being issued .So how can one actually deal with the issue if the credit provider isnt willing to understand the situation.
