Happy to Grant *****ulent Loans and Debit Victims

A *****ulent loan was taken out un my name with Direct Axis. I only became aware of this when my bank account was debited with the repayment. I immediately made contact with my bank and put a stop on the debit. My bank as well as myself contacted Direct Axis to inform them of the ***** as well as the fact that a stop was put on the debit order.

This was done during April and Direct Axis confirmed the *****ulent loan. Despite this, when enquiring as to when we can resolve the matter, I was advised that it can only be done when the pending debit order for May has been debited! How on earth is there still a pending debit when they have acknowledged a *****ulent loan? It feels like they don't mind *****ulent loans being made, as long as they can continue debiting accounts.

I've asked for the matter to be escalated and contact details of a team leader or manager as I only have the email for Col*****. The response time for this email is slow and no names are put to emails.

My feeling is that they couldnt care less that ***** has been perpetrated and have no incentive to rectify the matter.

I wonder how many other innocent people have been victims of ***** as a result of their online loan applications.
