Gina Nel (as well as several other names) passes herself of as a agent of Direct Axis, offering personal loans. A up front payment is requested to complete the application, to be made to CAPITEC BANK account. What shocks me is that both Direct Axis and Capitec Bank seem to be aware of this ****, but have done nothing to put a stop to it. Are they not as guilty as this *******, are there no rules under the Financial services act making them responsible

23 Jul 2018, 09:02Hello, thanks for getting in touch. The email that you received is known as a ****fed mail. ********** are able to imitate an address as they have done in the email sent to you. We have installed software to prevent ****fing and to make it more difficult. Whilst the software is very effective it isn’t possible to prevent ****fing to 100% at the moment. In the meantime please don't respond to the mail but should you be targeted again do forward these mails to us onto ***. We in turn send them to our anti-***** team who are continually working to make ****fing more difficult and eradicate it. The more information they have the better the chances of ***** prevention.
