EXPLOTING CONSUMERS

Direct Axis is the worst, they are exploiting consumers for every hard penny. Me and my wife lost our jobs the pandemic. We paid every month what we could, luckily we found jobs again and started paying the full installment again. It's not like we did not pay anything!! My installment a month is R3050.00 the interest on the amount in arrears is R3040.00 a month. So technically I am only paying R10.00 a month on my account. My account has been handed over to their so called debt collectors GLA, whom also seem to ***********. Take note I had a similar case with my personal loan at ABSA bank, but they card and were so helpful. They offered me a 60% discount on my total loan amount, and with the help of family I was able to settle my loan with them within 3 months. So for al consumers out there, if you want a financial institution that cares about you and your family's wellbeing, especially during the pandemic, I see now that ABSA is the way forward for South Africans. I am also clear when saying I don't want Direct Axis to the the same to me than ABSA, but I would have expected of them to at least meet me half way with a solution or a proposal. Instead at the beginning/middle of the pandemic, they (Direct Axis) wanted me to take out another loan to settle the arrears amount. Never the less long story short, I have been begging Direct Axis for months now, to please assist me, I have mailed proposals and solutions for me to get out of this debt. I really want to take the responsibility with regards to paying my debts. But they are cutting our throats with these ridiculous high interest charges. The interest amount on my account has almost doubled the initial loan amount. What turned out to be a 60/72 month repayment, has now became a life long repayment sentence. Direct Axis never gets back to me, they keep on referring me to GLA, which I did on numerous occasions. GLA never responses on any of my mails or proposals as well. PLEASE PEOPLE AVOID DIRECT AXIS, THEY WON'T HAVE YOUR BACK WHEN THINGS GET TOUGH. THEY WILL ONLY EXPLOIT YOU MORE!!!!
