Early settlement

Hi, I have a problem with sanlam through direct axis. Last year i took up a loan with them for a period and I thought I will be able to manage their monthly installment going forward as my partner and I were both working. My financial situation has changed due to sudden entrenchment that my partner went through early this year. I wrote to them explaining that I am not unable to make monthly installment as agreed due to my partner loosing his job. I have requested a settlement with them and they want me to pay the full amount for the rest of the term and I can afford it as explained. I am not sure what to do as this difficult for me now and I dont know what to do. I requested to pay 30000 which they refused Can you please help me
