DON'T pay any extra money into your loan and NEVER take out a second bond to cover it

This is absolutely ridiculous service and I am really not impressed at all!!!!!! Direct Axis registered a 2nd bond on my property to cover a large loan which I took with them. Now I have to appoint an attorney to request that they cancel the bond as I have paid the loan off, at my own cost! I did not need to appoint an attorney to send a bond request so why must I now have one to ask you to cancel it and at my cost!!! Secondly I need to prove that I have made extra payments into my account as it is in credit. This will necessitate at least four years’ worth of bank statements at a cost of approximately R3500.00 for them to retrieve the archived statements and now I have to engage an attorney to cancel a second bond that THEY took out on my property to cover the loan and for which I also paid to register. If I cannot give them all the statements proving that it was me making the extra payments into my loan over the past couple of years THEY WILL KEEP MY OVER-PAYMENT!!!!!! How many people do they catch in this way and how many thousands of rand do they actually accumulate!!! Now I must find approximately another R4000.00 to cancel the bond???? IS this how you make your money by forcing people to take out loans again?? I will have to come up with around R7000.00 to get my refund of an amount that your call centre person cannot give me - it may only be R1.00 – and for the bond cancellation fees!!! This is ****************. Be warned not to pay in anything extra and not to take out a loan which may need security. I have had two loans with them over the past 13 years, never missed a payment, have an excellent credit record and can assure you, I will never ever entertain doing so again!!!
