Hi everyone I would like to warn you about a DirectAxis ****. You initially receive an email from what looks like a legitimate DirectAxis email offering you or your company a special "Covid" loan of 5%. Once you apply for the loan, it is immediately accepted, irrespective of the amount. They then respond by congratulating you on the loan approval. The next step is to ask for a payment for their lawyers to set up the loan agreement. This is where they get you. DO NOT PAY ANYTHING. They pressurise you in paying this fee (roughly 3% of the loan amount) because as soon as you pay they will release the funds. Yeah right, this is a proper ****!!! DirectAxis are probably aware of this but I am not sure if anything has been done about it. For what it;s worth, I do have the email trail from inception.
