Directaxis not willing to assist existing clients during this difficult time

I had a loan with you guys of R150 000 I settled about R148 000 however because of the ridiculous Interest rates i was given I'm still owing R16 000 with the original installment of R5500 and tbe balance just keeps climbing every month. I've requested Directaxis to restructure that balance and extend the term because I cannot afford to pay that balance off currently because of the current economic situation, however you people show absolutely no interest in assisting clients during this difficult times. This balance just keeps going higher every month. Can someone please assist me with a new loan contract on that balance that I'm owing and possible extend the term. I really cannot afford to pay R5500 a month or pay that R16 000 in full.
