DirectAxis not complaining to Prescribed Debt Law

Good day Had a direct axis account. This account was supposed to be written off as Prescribed debt in 2021, however they handed this over to Main and Lynn attorneys who harassed me every single day. I made a payment in 2023 now they are saying because of the payment they can't prescribe the debt I need to pay. According to the law this should have been prescribed but with their harassment and me not knowing better they are refusing to prescribe this debt now. They are phoning constantly for payment!
