debt review status not removed

In February this year i voluntary withdrew from debt review as i got a better paying job and could afford to take over my payments again. all my other creditors have removed the debt review status and i managed to settle them within a month or two.direct axis told me they could not remove the status from there systems which i feel is incorrect because i am not on debt review.i requested that they increase my instalment with direct axis so that i can get it paid off sooner, they did it for one month only, the next month i had to call them so that they could increase the instalment again. i am now in a position where i can settle the account but i was told that because of the debt review status even if i settle the account i will not be able to obtain further credit with them for 5 years.
