Blacklisted, now sent from pillar to post

I took out a loan with Direct Axis in 2013, I made payments every month as per agreement until I stopped working in 2014, I did make arrangements to pay a lesser amount than the initial instalment, unfortunately due to being unemployed I skipped some months. The last payment I made was in December 2015 for R500. In January this year I received a letter of demand which stated that if I did not make a payment within 20 days the account would handed over to attorneys for collections. To my surprise in February they wrote off the account as a bad debt and blacklisted me, as a result I have not been able to get a Job, but fortunately a prospective employer gave me a chance by saying though I am listed on ITC they were willing to give me a chance to settle this account and give them proof of payment from Direct Axis. I then contacted Direct Axis to request a settlement letter so that I could pay them off and have them clear my name, I spoke to a consultant by the name of Nombulelo whom after I literally begged for settlement letter said in her own words "it's not like this is the last job you will ever get" and there after was told that my account had been handed over from HTN attorneys whom i had made payment arrangements with after they contacted me and now it was with MBD attorneys. I then went to MBD attorneys offices where they checked for me and confirmed that the account was not handed over to them as yet. I gave Direct axis a call again and this time the story changed, they had just sent my file to MBD attorneys offices, which would take at least 2-3 days, a day later I spoke to Tracy-Lee of Direct Axis who said she sent a request to their customer service department to send me a settlement letter which she said the due date would be 04 August, till today, I haven't received the settlement letteras a result I have lost the job opportunity and I am still Blacklisted after 2 weeks of back and forth phone calls. I was suppose to start working by the 15 August 2016. I am very dissapointed with the service I received.

I am writting this reply still feeling very let down by Direct Axis. It took me sending a compalint to the Hello Peter website for my problem to be attended to, because nobody at Direct Axis was willing to listen to and help me I lost a Job opportunity. I hope going forth in the process of clearing this debt I won't encounter the same difficulty I did.
