Bad idea to settle or pay off Direct Axis

I paid off in full Direct Axis(MBD) and got a paid-up letter but both Direct Axis and MBD don't want to correct my ITC profile and now I cannot buy anything. Settling on a Direct Axis loan will help me but NOT since I lost money and still have bad credit Direct account. No one in their call center helps me but sent from pillar to post
