Bad Customer Service
DirectAxis has this lovely app called Pulse where you can check your credit score for free, in a nicely formatted report with helpful tips at the bottom. I had been happily using the app for a while until I got an error on May 18, 2020 when I was trying to pull my updated report. I reported this to DirectAxis via the email that was provided on the screen showing the report. Quinita Ryke came back to me and told me that they are aware of the error and that they'll let me know as soon as it is resolved. This being a free services, I just keep trying without bothering until I noticed on their Facebook adverts about the same app that it was in fact working for other people and people had posted their resent screenshots. I liked the app so I followed up on my initial query via email and Facebook messages since my report was still showing the same error, and all follow ups went without any responses. DirectAxis doesn't owe me anything as I'm not paying for this particular service, but it's just to let everyone who things of doing businesses with them that when you hit issues and have queries, their service is likely to fail you. So I had to make do with alternative such as ClearScore which is also a free service. Turned out to be a very good app too, with some nice features no issues thus far.
The issue has been fixed. Even though it took a bit of time, given that this is s free service I would have changed the rating to a 4 star if it allowed me. Thank you for your assistance.
