Bad customer service
I have been very happy with Direct Axis until August when I wished to obtain a settlement amount.
Everytime I phoned I was on the phone for over 20 minutes and eventually hang up. I have sent e-mails to obtain my settlement which also was ignored.

Eventually I got through on the 17th August and settlement my account on the 18th as per the quote.
I have sent an e-mail on the 20th August to inform them that I have paid the settlement as requested and that the funds is reflecting on the account. I was told the account will be closed in 10 days.

It is today, the 2nd September and I can see on my FNB internet banking that my account is still not closed???? After holding on for almost again 20 minutes before an answer, the lady told me that I must sent them a proof of payment to speed up the closure? She will send through the closure request but they need the proof to close the account, which again will happen in only 10 days. This is absolutely unacceptable that a client need to go to arms and lengths to have an account closed.

Direct Axis, if this is not bad service, then what is?
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have escalated the matter to a consultant who will be in touch with you shortly.
