Avoid any loans from them
About 4 years ago I took out a personal loan from Sanlam - DirectAxis. This was an secure loan against my property. Currently I'm trying to secure an additional bond loan and the bank require a letter from Sanlam - DirectAxis that they do not object as they are holding an secure loan.
For tha last 3 days I have been calling their call center ********** . I have spent more than 2 hours on the phone either being put on hold or trying to explain an re-explaining what it is I need. No one seems to be able to assis.
I have been told numerous times that they cannot assist me and can only send an email to some other department with who me I cannot speak
This is now been day three and I insisted to talk to someone more senior. I spoke to a Sharine and was given the assurance that she is passionate about client service. She indicated that she would again send an email to this mysterious department and would get back to me within 2 hours, needless to say it has now been 4 hours and no feedback of any sort.
Again I tried calling and again no success. This is truly the worst service I have ever experienced and would strongly advise not to take any loans from Sanlam - DirextAxis as the service you get after the loan is non-existing and extremely frustrating.
Rather stay clear from this company, in the long run you will regret it like I am.

21 Oct 2017, 09:30Thanks, I look forward to this, let's hope this is not another empty promise as I do not anderstand how a simple letter that should be emailed to me can be so difficult to obtain? Maybe train your staff better so that they understand what your clients need and to ensure we always receive the best service, as the saying goes "Client always comes first".
