“Abysmal service’” is a polite term

An online application circa 18th November came back with ‘approved’ but to still phone the call centre to complete the formal application. This was done and I was cheerily told that I was approved for 3x what was requested. Certain documentation was to be submittted in support of the application, these being emailed through on 19th and 21st November. An acceptable delay arose as I wished to use my own insurance cover and when this policy was found to have insufficient cover, DirectAxis cover was then confirmed circa 1st December. Communication from DirectAxis/Cashpower has been abysmal, with more telephonic calls from myself to follow up progress. While being a self-employed professional was not an issue on initial application and approval, It did somehow become so on 8th December when additional bank statements were requested and supp**** on the day. DirectAxis/Cashpower - your communication record is abysmal, your inability to give concise answers and feedback is abysmal, a poorly constructed system that appears unable to pick up on applications that have been underway for 3 weeks or more and look to finalise these on a fast-track route. BTW , I have been an exemplary Wesbank client for past 8 months ?
