Unsigned 'Member'

So then i get this SMS welcoming me as a new member and my ID number as 'my membership' number. The thing is, i have never signed up, in fact it is my first ever time ever hearing about such a company. I called in via 'Account queries ********** ' and i was told that they would get somebody to call me back.

I called the number via company website as well and was told that they would lodge a complaint for me.

This is sickening to say the least because i do not have any idea about this company and what they do.
