Unfair Account Decline
I app**** to open an account at Dion Wired on Friday, 4 March 2016. I first got an sms saying certain information is missing yet I had supp**** the consultant with all the documents required to open an account. Immediately after I got another sms saying I did not meet the lending requirements. I called the call centre and the consultant said I did not have a sufficient credit history. I recently got my permanent residence and ID so there isn't much activity under the ID. However, I have had Standard Bank credit card since 2013 and Vodacom Contract since 2013 on my passport number of which I have always been up to date with my payments. I have never had any problems with creditors nor been blacklisted. I am also permanently employed and my salary is way above the minimum salary requirement. I find the decline for credit rather unfair and therefore appeal for Dion Wired to reconsider my case.
