Total disappointment and utter disgust

I recently bought a Dell Core i7 Notebook from Dion Wired, three weeks ago to be exact, and at a hefty price tag too I must add. None the less, it was the best deal and I am a regular supporter and frequent customer of Dion Wired, not anymore though. The story began when I bought the laptop in Somerset West before I relocated to Pretoria to start a new occupation and being employed at a new firm. I am a Audit Manager, so it goes without saying my laptop is my work and without it I am stranded. The problem lies in the fact that the notebook bought brand new, and only three weeks old is already acting up and the screen flashes on startup and there it stays for who knows how long. This of course causing a lot of frustration since my whole day now revolves around a laptop which was bought brand new for the sole purpose of me being able to use it and work on it. The condition cannot be diagnosed by the Franchise in Pretoria and they claim it should be sent back to the supplier for an inspection and assessment where after they will give permission to either replace or credit the purchase. I honestly find this unacceptable, since I spent over R21000 in appliance purchases from Dion Wired over the past three weeks because they stock quality products and this is the "Thank You" and return on investment I get? How do you explain that?

When the franchise was asked if they could replace my laptop since I refuse to accept that I have to be without a laptop for 21 days and face risking my job over this, there best and only response was: "We are sorry, that is the best that we can do and we can only assist by taking the laptop and arrange for assessment on Monday". The fact of the matter is that no one will ever be satisfied with paying almost R14000 for good quality products and efficient service delivery and get this a the result, then why should I be?

Please Dion Wired, I ask that you attend to this matter as soon as possible and help me in making the process of acquiring a new, replaced laptop as hassle free as possible.
