Smiles but no Service
I purchased an ASUS tablet as a gift. When the charge port became defective I took it to Dion Wired in Woodlands on 6 December 2015 to have it repaired. The person at Customer Care looked at the tablet and told me that I was going to be charged for the repair. She must be an excellent Technician as she could see the fault without opening the case. I told her to send it to the agents so that they may report on the fault.

Whilst trying to book the unit in to send to the supplier she told me that there were no registered supplier for the item on their system. She wanted to give the unit back to me and that would then be the end of the matter according to her. I insisted that they find a supplier and repair the unit. After waiting for 20 minutes I told her that I would come back later to sign the paperwork.

She eventually came and told me that the unit was booked in and there were no paperwork. I received a SMS that gave the repair no: 2236.

On 11 and 19 December I went to the store and enquired regarding the repair status of the tablet and was told that the unit was still at the supplier.

This is not the way to treat your customers and I hope that management may help.
