Promise of Delivery and no goods received

<p>On the 20th of June we ordered a camera from Dion Wired, which stated delivery of 3-7 days. A week later I phoned to query why there was no delivery. I was informed that the Pretoria branch where the camera was to be dispatched from "had simply forgotten" to arrange a courier, but not to worry they would arrange in ASAP and that the parcel would either be with us on the Friday (30 June) or absolutely on the Monday (3rd July). On Monday we received a host of SMS's saying that we were next in line for delivery, but no delivery arrived. Over the course of Wednesday and Thursday (5th and 6th July) I tried numerous times to contact them on their help line, but the phones simply just rang. Today I finally got hold of a lady by the name of Rhianna, who told me she would have to come back to me about the status of the parcel. During the discussion, I told her that this was no longer acceptable and that if delivery wasnt made today before 12pm, Dion Wired could refund the money. She eventually came back to me to say that Delivery could only be made by 2:30pm.</p> <p> </p> <p>I find it incredibly sad that companies will treat someone who has just spent R10 000 with them with such disregard. </p>
