Price match policy not honoured

Today, we went into Dionwired Cresta to purchase a TV. We asked if they will match a price of another store, namely, Makro. The Makro branch had stock available. The TV, a Samsung 65" is going for R19999 at Makro and Dionwired has it for R21999. The same TV is also available online at Digital Experience for R18999 or instore for R19999. After confirming with the Sales person, Sibusiso that they do price match if stock is available at the rival stores. Sibusiso confirmed with the rivals store that they do have stock available and then spoke to his Manager on the phone who confirmed that they could only match R19999. Then after Sibusiso had made copies of the TV licence and ID etc, he went to the stockroom to retrieve the TV and then came back stating that his manager had advised that he cannot match the price as it will be less than Cost price.

We would like Dionwired to honour their Price match policy as they are losing many loyal customers with false advertising in this sense.
