Pay now and receive it whenever

I bought a washing machine on Friday and was told I can collect the following Tuesday. No suddenly they dont have stock and can not give me a time when it will be there. I have sold my old washing machine and sit with nothing at the moment. Time for a loan unit or urgraded unit?
