Empty promises from their suppliers

I bought an Asus laptop from the Dion Wired in Somerset West Mall in August 2016. They had a promotion going where Intel was promising a year's free movies and a R1,000 discount of a Mango flight. But what obstacles you had to overcome before getting these freebies. Firstly for the movies you had to send details to a third party marketing company which I did. Got the free movie card delivered to me NOT. Then I decide to make use of the flight discount and contact the marketer. I had to first buy the flight ticket and then send my details to the marketing company and then they would "reimburse" me the money. Yeah right, phantom money just like the phantom movies.

What's the use of offering a discount if you have to pay the full price first!

Come on Dion, don't allow your suppliers to promote freebies if they are not going to follow through.

Someone from Dions contacted me early January and mentioned that they need to liaise with their procurement counterpart.
I am still awaiting feedback and this matter has not been resolved.

It's now the middle of March 2017 and I am frustratingly and irritatedly still awaiting resolution.

So now it's the middle of April 2017 and stil no resolution in sight.
TLC did try to contact me and I requested their complaints manager Calvin to call me back as I was in a meeting.
I have called the listed number but it just rings continuously and I have also emailed. It would seem that TLC doesn't have the SA resources to run a proper complaints desk. Seems a bit silly as they have a lot of complaints against them if HelloPeter is anything to go by.
@Dion take ACCOUNTABILITY and you provide me with what was promised as you allowed your stores to run with this to my mind ********* and untruthful marketing campaign!
