DIONS WIRED BOKSBURG - WHAT A *******!!!
I purchased a router at Dions Wired that could take a speed of 40mb/s. The Router purchased was an Asus Router for R1 999.00. We experienced bad weather one night and found the router not to be working the next day. The router was taken back to Dions Wired as it is still under warranty. After a few days, we contacted Dions Wired about the router. A quote was emailed to us to have the router fixed at R4 313.71 through Incredible Solutions and if the quote is rejected, you still need to pay a penalty fee of R399.00 incl VAT. Now why would I pay R4 313.71 to have a router fixed that I originally paid R1 999.00 for? Is this a ******* or what?

The store will get a technical report as to what is wrong with the item but if it is due to act of nature (lightning) then the repair cost will be for you as that is not covered under the guarantee. Senior Management will be in contact to discuss this matter with you.

04 Mar 2019, 09:09In conclusion, we have still not received the broken modem. Dions Wired's warranty means nothing. Had they sent the modem back to Asus, Asus would have replaced the modem with a new one, instead they give it to Incredible Solutions to look at. My experience with Dions Wired = 1/10
