Two months ago I bought a hi sense tv of R13 000.00. Wow the sales people dance gigs to get the sale and tells you what a great product you buy etc and tells us if anything happens Hi sense exchanges the product. Last week I see the tv screen has a dead line down the screen and Deon Wired tells me to call Hi Sense to come to my house I do not need to drive around with the tv in my car. Hi Sense sends a technician that tells me he will need to complete paperwork on Monday (today). When i receive the paperwork I must take the tv back to the shop where they will exchange it. Today I go to the store with the document which hi sense had emailed me. And Dion wired staff tell me that they have their own process and that hi sense is making promises to clients that Dion cant live up to. According to dion...i need to leave my tv there for around 48 hrs while they get their paperwork ready and ensures that Hi Sense will give them a credit note (which is ineveitable) for the tv. Only then the tv can get replaced. I told them if it is such an sure thing that I,will get a new tv as told by the technician ( hence the form he mailed me) why do they not exchange the tv and get the credit note tomorrow on their own time? Hell no they cant do that because what if....what if Hi Sense does not give a credit, because other companies has done that to them.. I am extremely upset. How can Dion story and Hi Sense story differ so much. So I take the broken tv back to the store on my own coats. Then have to sit without a tv for 48 hrs and then go back to pick up the new tv once they have the go ahead all on my own costs. This was not told to me by Hi Sense at all. So I have to drive 40 km on my own costs and dion tells me they cant deliver the tv on their own costs. Is this how it is? Is this what Dion wired calls customer service. This is nonsense. I have to run around dancing a jig for a company that I supported when I bought a tv. I bought a tv from Dion Wired, if there are any issues between Dion and Hi Sense then surely that should not inconvenience the client. And yes....I also spoke to the manager to try and get customer service but it seems the managers at the Dion Wired stores are Managers in name only with no power to actually assit the clients. All the say the the same **** as the rest of the people there. Where are the days where a manager can take charge, put their foot down and resolve a simple issue like mine without sending the cliebt away with empty stories and ifs, buts and non discriptive ' we will try but cant promise anythjng'. Thanks Dion wired for showjng me for the first time in your existance and all the years of supporting you that my money may have been best spent somewhere else. But I have learned my lesson. in 2018 ther are a lot of other businesses that still know what customer service is really all about. I will be spending my time and money by them from now on.
