Cordless phone

We purchased a Motorola cordless phone from Dion Wired Cresta on January 17 2015. It is very clearly stated on the box that the standby time is up to 250 hours with talk time at 12 hours. <br> We took the phone home and installed it according to the booklet. The standby time lasted less than four hours. We returned the phone to Dion Wired at Cresta and the phone was sent in for repairs - a new phone ?Just over two weeks later we collected the phone having been assured it was repaired. <br> Lo and behold the phone lasted less than four hours on standby once again. <br> We returned to Dion Wired for a refund. The manager Charles refused to refund us - it appeared as tho we weren't to be believed - he wants to test the phone himself. <br> We were told the standby time is UP TO 250 hours. Well it fell short by 245 hours. Clearly not acceptable. <br> We would like a refund on this purchase.
