Cellphone under Warranty

I purchased a cellphone at Dion Wired in February 2016 and paid cash for my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 4). After almost 10 months on Christmas morning my phone just died on me and did not switch on again. i then took my phone to the store i purchased it (Dion Wired Canal Walk) on the 28th and the smart care agent (Eugene) informed me i can come and collect my phone because he completed the diagnostics and the hard board is finished. I couldnt understand what to do with the phone now, if it is broken then why give it back to me?

I then spoke to the manager (Paul) as i was and still am sure my phone is still under warranty. i had to call in everytime to find out how far they are and had to ask for updates on my phone. Whenever i call the number for the store i get put through to switchboard and the ladies working on switchboard dont know what they are doing, because everytime i ask to trasfer me to Paul, they "trasfer" me and the line dies. then i end up phoning back 5 or 6 times before i get through to the mananger.

I was told that the phone needs to be couriered to Joburg to Samsung and what baffled me is that packages can be sent in an over night bag but my cellphone took a further 2 weeks to be sent from Cape Town to Joburg.

Paul just called me back now saying that he has not received feedback from Samsungs manager Deresh Pillay and he will let me know as soon as he gets proper feedback. i was given a different story now about a 6 month warranty and my phone boke after 6 months there are procedures that need to be followed... tell em something i dont know!!

I am really really disappointed in Dion Wired and Samsung as a whole as i have been buying their products for years and now that something like this happens its one story after another.

it has been a month now (24/01/2017) and still no cellphone, no loan unit and no credit!!
