We visited your resort from 3 January for a few nights.

After much excitement we arrived at 12:00 to check in after being informed check in was from 12:00. Upon arrival we were told that our chalet was not ready and that we could sit at the pool.

I have a 8 week old baby, and sitting at a pool in the middle of the day with no shade available and the sun beating down is not exactly ideal. Perhaps you should notify your clients upon request of check in that they can use the resort facilities from 12:00 but the chalet could possible not be ready.

The second thing I would like to bring to your attention is the smoking around the pool. Not by one or 2 people but by many, and also drinking in the warm water pool outside the take away restaurant.

This to me is a no brainer and needs to be addressed asap by management. You promote yourself as a kids friendly resort but this is something that should not be tolerated around children, many times I had to tell my 3 year old to move away from smoking adults. Simply not acceptable.

The pool by the lodge was dirty and full of little insects swimming around in it and the creepy was not connect to the pipe.

The third item is the fact that we had 2 nights left in Meerkat when 3 spiders walked up the wall behind my babies cot, after investing we found an entire mess of spiderwebs begin the cupboard in the unit. We packed up that night and left the next morning.

I believe the resort had lots of potential and could be a lovely experience if the above basic items are addressed.

I would like to request a refund for the last night that we did not stay at your resort because of all these items listed above, upon checking out I said to the lady at reception we were leaving early and not one of your staff present that day took the time to ask why and if they could assist.
