Le Petite Chef is a disaster but could be fixed with some real management

I was not very impressed with the dining experience. The projector footage on the table was incredibly done but none of the dishes ‘made’ by Le petite chef were actually what we got on our plate. The waiting staff, although friendly and filled with life, were extremely badly trained. As someone who had been in the restaurant industry for 6 years I was shocked at how uncoordinated and ill-skilled the waiting staff were. They didn’t understand their duties as well as they should and always made you move out of the way when serving you. For a ‘fine’ dining experience it was quite shocking to have to constantly move out the way to get served something and multiple times we got served a vegetarian option although we never stated we were vegetarian. Even after explaining this nothing was done to correct it. The dancers also did not make any sense as their performance never matched the theme of our meals. Very disappointed with the experience and I hope that if I ever come again it will be up to standard with what I would expect for a almost R3000 a seat dinner.
