Dinner Time Stories SA

The overall presentation of the dinner was beautiful and really exciting to witness. I was just upset that the sanitiser bottles were refilled incorrectly and when we used it the sanitiser sprayed onto my face and into my eyes... this ruined my evening because the alcohol in the eye burned and also ruined my makeup and the eye was burning. I informed the host and I wasn’t even offered an apology. They just ignored it like nothing happened. During the Chinese experience there were insects on the serving tray . I brought it to the waiters attention. He just took my tray away I hadn’t even finished my meal. Again the matter was not addressed. I have a video of the insects on the tray and they didn’t even have the courtesy to come to me and apologise or explain what happened. At the end of the evening just before I left a waiter brought me a piece of cake and said they are sorry. I just think they could have been courteous and considerate and addressed the matter when it happened and offered me assistance at the time these events happened. Overall I was disappointed. I went to celebrate my birthday and it was ruined because my eyes were burning and makeup was ruined and also not knowing where the bugs were from just made me feel sick. I did email the hotel. They have not responded.
