Is Social Responsibility a Vehicle for Corporate *****!

I wish to firstly start of by saying that the 1 star Rating is inappropriate- Hello Peter should offer the option of NO STARS for the rating in instances such as this.

Its been now three years when I was approached to send candidates for what was meant to be a mentor-ship programme which is the norm with large corporates as part of their social responsibility programs.

I sent two candidates and somewhere along the conduct of the program, candidates were promised laptops. This to date has never been honoured.

The program concluded with the normal glitz and glamour with tons of accolades for what seemed like self praise (Dimension Data) with the attendance by political figures including the likes of the Deputy Mayor of the City of Durban, Ms Fozia Peer.

Sadly though my conclusion is that all these are mere facades to corporate ***** as it seems like SMME's are used as scapegoats in their sinister intentions.

I am sure Dimension Data has all the BOXES Ticked for their bogus Social Responsibility Programme.

JUST WHO ARE THE REAL BENEFICIARIES!!!!!
