Half an hour inverter 3am alarm clock... We can't help you. No stock and wait till the end of loadshedding

I received an Inverter that dies after about half an hour of loadshedding. It also beeps loudly at 3am causing severe sleep and work disruption. I have tried to contact them on several occasions and I am given a sob story about them never having new stock and that I must wait until stage 2 loadshedding... Basically the case is hopeless and I cannot be helped... As if I don't have a problem and I must just accept the poor inverter and situation until better days in SA come or until they eventually have stock with no turn around time provided.
