Unauthorised Debit
Good day.<br> <br> I have realised a debit oder from my account from Digicash of which I've never authorised nor do I know what the company is about but I've been debited R99.<br> <br> Who on earth are these people/company and how on earth do they just debit my account. I'm really irritated at this because this is just money going out of my account without my authorisation.

Please note that Digicash is a duly registered Third Party Payment Provider (TPPP) who facilitates debit order collections on behalf of various merchants.
The process is as follows:
o A consumer enters into an agreement with one of our merchants
o That merchant utilises DigiCash's software to collect funds from the consumer's account
o Digicash registers a unique assigned short name (ASN) with its sponsoring bank which the merchant must use when submitting debit orders
o The ASN, a reference number and Digicash's name will appear in your bank statement. This will help us to identify the merchant responsible for debiting your account
We would ask that you please contact us on *** with further details of the transaction. We will then be able to put you in direct contact with the company who asked us to collect these funds from you, and this can then be resolved.
