R99 ********** DEBIT ORDER
I have also realised that my bank account has been ********ly fleeced off R99 by Digicash. There are clearly debit order ****s going around, where debit order companies, like Digicash, deduct money between R90 and R99.99 so that you will not get an sms notification from your bank. It is evident from the complaints on Hellopeter that the originators of these debit order are known to Digicash but they do not stop them because they derive economic benefit. Otherwise, how does Digicash begin debiting a customer's account when there is no proof of permission/mandate given by their instructors upfront? I suspect in my case the originators are in Durban as I have in the past two weeks been getting a large number of unsolicited marketing calls from call centres in Durban. Some of the complaints here about Digicach point to that direction. One can only imagine how many other people are victims of these debit orders but have not posted their plight on public forums or are not aware of them since the amounts are tailored to go just under the sms notification limit. The only way to stop this is to address it as a collective and if necessary begin a class action lawsuit. #StopDebitOrder*****
We understand your frustration in this regard and we'll aim to resolve your problem as quickly as possible.
First it's important to understand that DigiCash only facilitates collections for our merchants, from their customers.
The problem that we have with these complaints is a complex one, and is not made easier by the fact that many of the systemic issues we're up against are endemic to South Africa. The root cause here are legislative issues and our hands are largely tied in a lot of ways.
We realise a lot of this will make very little difference to you, but we would encourage you to work with us and not against us. If you mention the company is giving you a run around, please involve us in the communication (you can cc ***). At the least our involvement will speed up the matter between you and the company
Also please contact our offices on *** or email us at *** so that we can get the necessary details from you for us to block your account so no further deductions can take place and request the Mandate from them.
We looking forward to hearing from you
Kind Regards
DigiCash Team
