********** Debit Order
Today I saw a debit order come off of my current account for the amount of R99. It was done via DIGICASH on behalf of RTS Marketing. Contacted DIGICASH who reversed the debit order according to the person I dealt with and they gave me RTS Marking telephone number which is a Durban number. Tried phoning them and get no ringing from them. Phoned DIGICASH again in Cape Town and got the companies e-mail address. Went to the bank and opened a ***** case. I have never dealt with this company and would like proof that I have. I do not even live in Durban.

28 Jul 2015, 10:47Hello pension,
We appreciate you informing us about this matter and we'll aim to resolve your problem as quickly as possible.
We would like to inform you that Digicash is a debit order facilitator who facilitates the collections of our merchants' fees, from their clients.
The process is as follows:
1. A client enters into an agreement with one of our merchants
2. That merchant contracts DigiCash to collect their fees from the client's account
3. DigiCash's name (instead of the company with whom the client contracted with) appears on the bank statement, as mandated by the Reserve Bank.
One of our consultants will contact you shortly and we will then be able to put you in direct contact with the company who asked us to collect these funds from you, and this can then be resolved
Kind regards,
The Digicash Team
