As the others posted, the same thing happened to me. I did not sign any documents for Digicash to debt my account. Digicash must prove that I signed papers that authorised a sum of R99 to go off my account 7 times. If not then I hold Digicash responsible/liable to pay my money back. I'm sure if this happened to them they would feel the same way. I want to know how things like this happen, nobody picks up the phone to call and say, \I'm calling from Digicash

Please note that Digicash is a duly registered Third Party Payment Provider (TPPP) who facilitates debit order collections on behalf of various merchants.
The process is as follows:
o A consumer enters into an agreement with one of our merchants
o That merchant utilises DigiCash's software to collect funds from the consumer's account
o Digicash registers a unique assigned short name (ASN) with its sponsoring bank which the merchant must use when submitting debit orders
o The ASN, a reference number and Digicash's name will appear in your bank statement. This will help us to identify the merchant responsible for debiting your account
We would ask that you please contact us on *** with further details of the transaction. We will then be able to put you in direct contact with the company who asked us to collect these funds from you, and this can then be resolved.
