Unprofessional

I got a notification regarding an advert on a Kia Rio as I have been looking for one. I immediately enquired on the car and got a quote from Innocent Mariti. I asked to view the vehicle and was told that the vehicle is still at the workshop and should be back soon and that I can get a preapproval in the mean time as the car has been reserved for me. I kept on following up and was told to be patient as the car was not back yet. After a week and a half of waiting, I get an email to say that Zak Muhammad (another sales executive) has sold the car despite the reservation that was made. I am failing to understand on how things work at this dealership because not only is this disappointing and time wasting but it also affects ones credit score. If this is how they treat customers then I wouldn't recommend this dealership.

Hi Kamohelo, Thank you kindly for your feedback on the experience you had with one of sales executives. We’d like to start by mentioning that we take extreme pride in making our clients experience seamless and exceptional. The matter you detailed is out of the norm and so we thank you for alerting us to this and apologize in that regard.  Our normal procedure in reserving a vehicle with us or rather having first preference offer is a signed Offer To Purchase, which we’ve been made aware that unfortunately in this case there wasn’t any. We take accountability to this information not being clearly communicated to you in your initial inquiry for the vehicle. We will be making further engagement with you to see how we can make up for the inconvenience.
