Unfair payment for hospitalisation

<p>My son went for a tonsillectomy (1101) and Adenoidectomy (1105) on friday the 3rd of June 2016. i got pre auth from bonitas for the procedures. I was also informed that the dr that did the procedure was not listed with them and was prepared there might be a shortfall that i needed to pay in. i was ok with that but did not expext to have a shortfall with 400%. Where in your life will these procedures only be covered (bonitas fees) for only R1229 for an inhospital procedure. To take of a ward in the dr rooms are more expensive. we had 2 procedures that needed to be done. The total invoice for the dr was R5245.00, bonitas is only paying R1229. That is maddness. I pay allot of money to be on bonitas and think this is unfair on the member to have to pay in 400% of the account. I want a supervisor or manager to contact me regarding this matter ASAP. i will be forced to resign from bonitas and join discovery if this is the treatment im getting from bonitas and i have been a member of bonitas for a long time</p>
